DJI Avata
The DJI Avata is a compact and lightweight FPV and cinewhoop drone capable of capturing immersive aerial video and photos, as well as delivering smooth aerial performance. The streamlined and compact design makes it simple to use in just about any situation and its features plus software updates make it extremely easy to operate.
The DJI FPV includes a pair of VR goggles that let you experience first-person view (FPV) flight like never before. The DJI FPV is a beginner-friendly, ready-to-fly (RTF) drone that gives you the opportunity to experience the exciting world of FPV drones right out of the box. The drone comes with everything you need to get started: a battery, a charger, and a controller. The only thing missing is a micro SD card for the controller.
The DJI Mini 3 is the latest in a line of sub-250g drones from DJI. It’s a slightly pared-down version of the Mini Pro, which offers better flight time but less advanced features like obstacle avoidance, subject tracking and Hyperlapse.
The Mini 3 has a maximum flight time of 25 minutes (versus 20 minutes for the Mini 2) and offers 8GB of internal storage instead of 4GB. It retains the same four-way obstacle avoidance as its predecessor, as well as a three-axis gimbal for smoother video footage.
As with other DJI models, the controller is included in the box and can be used with an iPad or iPhone via an optional Lightning cable adapter. The drone also comes with an app for both Android and iOS devices.
The DJI Air 2S is one of the most popular drones on our list, and for good reason. Despite being one of the most expensive models on this list, it's also one of the best all-round options for any level of pilot.
The Air 2S' 1-inch sensor gives it an edge over the Mini 3 Pro and Mavic Air 2 in terms of image quality, while its 20MP resolution makes it a great choice for videographers looking to capture stunning shots.
It's also worth noting that the Air 2S has a 4K 60fps mode that can be used with a single controller (something that only works with the Mavic 2 Pro or Zoom).
DJI has introduced the Mavic 3 Classic as a more affordable alternative to the Mavic 3 that was announced in November 2021. The most affordable of DJI’s latest Mavic 3 models, the Mavic 3 Classic, is a stripped-down version of its predecessors. The DJI has taken all of what was loved about the Mavic 3 and adds a $500 price cut, making this potentially the best drone for videographers who can’t drop thousands of dollars on a UAV.
