Twitter user and DJI fanatic, @quadro_news, caught and shared a screenshot of an accidentally released lower priced DJI Mini 3 drone which is believed to soon be the successor of the current Mini 3 Pro.
Those with familiarity regarding DJI’s relative retail strategy are aware that this drone company typically releases a new drone followed by a later, inexpensive version with some expunged capabilities in order to target anticipators who didn’t see the value in the previously released, full priced, flagship drone. We saw this with the DJI Mini Series as we got the Mavic Mini in 2019, the Mini 2 in 2020, and the Mini SE in 2021 which is the original DJI Mini in the shell of the Mini 2 but priced significantly less than its predecessors. DJI’s retail concept closely resembles that of Apple Inc’s with their SE series iPhones. This DJI release is rumored to launch December 9, 2022.
