Australia is Developing the Largest Drone Delivery Network to Date

The Australian government awarded a grant to Swoop Aero, a Melbourne based drone delivery company, to build the world's largest aerial logistics network according to sources.

The company is being granted $1.5 million to expand its already existing aeronautical delivery & logistics services to 175,000 square kilometers with the expansive potential of 400,000 square kilometers and a central focus being the improvement in healthcare among Aussies.

Statement from CEO reads as follows, “Swoop Aero’s Southern Queensland network will be the world’s first, and largest, fully integrated drone logistics network. Funding from the Federal Government will accelerate the value we can add back to Australian society, across industries, including medical transport, search and rescue, agriculture, and government.”
